Last August we shared the staggering fact that CUH produces paper payslips that would reach 60 metres high each year – which equates to a pile of paper almost as tall as the Addenbrooke’s chimney. Each year!

We will be switching off paper payslips on 01 August 2022, making online payslips available via MyESR only.

We are asking all staff to please do your bit and help us make CUH a greener workplace and help improve the environment by switching off paper payslips today. Thank you to those of you who have already done this. Many of you are now logging on to MyESR, which is great, but we still have some way to go to prepare for this change. Please encourage others to go paperless too. Further information and links to helpful video guides are available below, which will talk you through this simple process.

Payslips and P60s can be viewed online via MyESR which you can access from the quick links on the home page of Connect, using the website or via the MyESR app which you can download from your app store. Just click the ‘go paperless’ button on your MyESR dashboard to switch off paper payslips. You can also elect to receive an email when your online payslip is available – this is a few days before the paper slips are available.

We have created a ‘going paperless’ pack, which contains all the details you need to get you started. You can download the pack here: MyESR going paperless pack July 2022

The ‘ESR Hub‘, contains useful ESR updates and information.

Important information:

Please note that CUH uses DOT for training therefore all information on training compliance should be viewed via DOT, and the information on MyESR disregarded.

Please note that whilst absence data is available to view in ESS (LA), it is not managed in ESR. Absences, including annual leave, are recorded and managed in the HealthRoster system. Each month a sickness absence data feed is taken from HealthRoster and transferred into ESR for payroll and monitoring purposes, which is why the data is there in ESR for you to view it.

Please log onto HealthRoster/MAPS to view your annual leave entitlement and to book leave.
